Episode 6:
Nick and Jessica's careers are shifting into high gear and that means less time for them to spend together. Jessica is on her way to Orlando to sing at a Fourth of July event and Nick is going to meet up with her there. "This is the beginning of some long separations for the two of us," says Jess.

While Jessica is away, Nick deals with it like any other man: he goes clubbing with his friends. Is that a bikini contest? Nick, are you the judge? Jessica tries to get in contact with Nick but the music from the club is just too loud and he can't hear his phone. After they are reunited in Orlando, Jessica asks Nick why he was clubbing rather than talking to her. "I would have understood if you were working, but you weren't. You were playing." She only talked to him for seven minutes that day and that was not enough.

Nick wants to make it up to Jessica so he plans a getaway with Drew and Lea so they can all have some fun in the sun. The two couples arrive in the Bahamas a couple days later and start the relaxing. They stay in the best hotel on the island and begin their first evening there with a glass of champagne. Afterwards, they head out to dinner. Lea asks Jessica if she has tried the buffalo wings and Jessica tells her, "I don't eat buffalo." Nick has a moment of disbelief. Surly his wife realizes that buffalo wings are made out of chicken. Drew then makes an excellent point. "You don't find it weird that buffalos don't have wings?" Jessica responds, "I never thought about it."

The rest of the trip is spent drinking on the beach after sunset, parasailing on sunny afternoons, tanning, and playing with dolphins. Jessica says, "I definitely faced a lot of fears. I had a lot of fun. I had a lot of fun being adventurous. I faced my fears of dolphins, of sharks, of heights. I was just kind of adventurous for the first time ever. I think Nick was very very proud of me."

Episode 7:
Jessica has just about had it with the state of their house. Nick and Jess have been so busy with work that they haven't had time to decorate. Jessica thinks it will take a couple of years for them to get the house together but if they hire a designer it will be done in six months. Now the only question is, will Nick let Jess hire a designer?

Surprise…Nick doesn't want to spend the money on a designer so he is going to do it himself…or so he thinks. Jessica protests, but when she leaves town for a book signing, Nick decides to decorate the house anyway and he recruits Drew to help him.

Nick has a lot of furniture that won't fit through the front door so he and Drew turn into expert movers and shimmy furniture up a ladder through the balcony. Meanwhile, Jessica is at her first book signing. She's disappointed that only 100 people showed but greets her fans with a smile anyway. Back home, Nick is putting the finishing touches on the house before Jessica returns. He's made an office downstairs with all their albums hanging on the wall, and put up pictures and mirrors all over the house. Will Jessica appreciate all of Nick's hard work? As soon as Jessica sees everything Nick has done she picks it all apart. She doesn't like the pictures, she doesn't like the office…she doesn't like anything. And Nick doesn't like her attitude. "I've been here working my ass off for like the last three days. All you do is come home and bitch about it."

After much argument, the couple resigns to the living room and then to the bedroom. Hopefully they will find a way to compromise, after they are finished making up.

Episode 8:
Jessica and Nick are embarking on critical phases of their careers: shooting their new videos. Nick is first and this video is extra important for him because it is his first as a solo artist. Laser lights, a shirtless Nick and hot dancers all add up to a hot video, or so Nick thinks (more on that later). Halfway through the shoot, Jessica shows up to help support her hubby with a bottle of champagne and the cast and crew celebrate Nick's new video.

Two weeks later, Nick gets the footage back from his video shoot. He doesn't look pleased. He looks more then unpleased, he looks like he hates it. Jessica tries to make him feel better about it but Nick still can't tell if his new video is going to help his career or hurt it. "It looks like an '80s video. There's nothing going on. It's just kind of boring." Nevertheless, the jury is still out.

Jessica's video up next. Nick and Jess wake up at the crack of dawn and make their way to the beach to shoot her new video, which is set by a waterfall. Unfortunately for Jessica it is cold out and her little bikini is not keeping her warm. After a few hours the shoot finally wraps and Nick and Jessica head back home.

When the footage of Jessica's video finally comes back, it becomes obvious to Nick that compared to Jessica's video his is…well, let's just say it needs a little work. Nick then hustles to find more money to re-shoot his video, making countless calls.

Finally Nick gets the call he's been waiting for. His people managed to scrounge up some money for him and they are going to schedule a re-shoot. This time they have Dax from Punk'd to help out. They shoot it behind Nick and Jessica house and get the dancers back too. Nick is finally happy with his first video as a solo artist."I think we pulled a rabbit out of our hat, so to speak, today. We made it happen. It was a lot of work but it all paid off and it turned out incredibly in the end."

Episode 9:
Jessica is turning the big 2-3! She goes to her favorite restaurant with Lea and they decide that her party theme will be the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. Jessica doesn't know if she has ever seen the movie and is a little confused about how the Mad Hatter fits into Alice in Wonderland. Not surprising.

Before the celebrating begins, Nick must first tackle the bee problem in their backyard. He's so domestic! In typical Jessica fashion, she wants to hire a bee exterminator, and in typical Nick fashion he resolves to handle it himself. So off to Home Depot they go. Nick buys a crap load of things for the house and Jessica bitches the whole time, so it is a normal day in the life of Nick and Jessica.

When they get home, Nick attacks the bees and Jessica works out, so it's just between him and the bees. After some serious spraying, Nick prevails.

Next, Jessica's friends roll in to get ready for her birthday party. She explains to one of them on the phone, "Twenty-three is old. It's almost twenty-five which is almost mid-twenties." Talk about rounding up. After shopping with her girlfriends, Jessica gets ready for her party. Three hours later, she emerges from the bedroom a hot sex kitten. Once they get to the party, they indulge in much dancing and drinking with family and high-profile friends.

Jessica spends the next day with her close friends and fam opening presents and relaxing. Nick insists on showing Jessica the beehive he sprayed the day before and even eats part of it to see if tastes like honey. It doesn't. Jessica is grossed out--but maybe Nick felt that was just what she needed to make her birthday complete.

Episode 10:
On the season finale, Nick is tired of eating out every night and pleads with Jessica to make a home-cooked meal. Jessica agrees to prepare a romantic dinner but only after her manicure and pedicure (that must help with the cooking process)! When Jessica gets home from the grocery store at nine o'clock, she apologizes for her delay saying, "I didn't know that my manicure was going to run so long." Unfortunately, she can't make dinner in time for the movie that they are suppose to see with Drew and Lea. Nick tries to calm down Jessica by telling her she can just make dinner the following night instead. When Nick calls Drew and Lea they have already eaten and are ready for the movies. Jessica pouts, "Lea has dinner on the table and I have dinner in grocery sacks."

The next day, Jessica gets started on her cooking adventure. She manages to pull together a really great dinner for Nick with only a few slip-ups and minor burns. Meanwhile, Nick has secretly conjured up a romantic getaway for the two of them, setting up hotel reservations and a hot-air balloon ride.

Nick tries to keep the trip under wraps, but Jessica finds out anyway, so he tricks her into thinking they're going to Tijuana, Mexico. Packing her bag she realizes that she can't find her passport. With time ticking away, an eager Nick is forced to tell Jessica that she doesn't need the passport because they are not going to Mexico. Now a frustrated Nick and a confused Jessica get in the car to San Diego. Driving off, Jessica finds her passport. "Oh! Here it is!"

Several hours later they arrive at their hotel in San Diego. After commenting on how beautiful it is, Jessica and Nick toast to their love and happiness and Nick tells Jessica to get dressed and ready for the next planned event. Not knowing where she is going, Jessica wears high heels. Little did she know they were heading to a horse race. With her heels sinking in the dirt, Jessica finally manages to get to her seat. Soon, Nick leaves to make a phone call to make sure his other plans are still good to go. Unfortunately, he finds out that his hot-air balloon finale can't happen due to weather conditions. Ironically, at the same time, the horse Nick picked lost. Jessica exclaims, "Nick is not having a lucky day."

After the horse race they head off to the harbor where Nick has planned a romantic cruise. Arriving at the dock Jessica asks the man standing by the boat, "Are you the skipper?" to which he replies, "No. I'm the captain." Coming home from the cruise, Nick tells Jessica to hurry up and get dressed for dinner; however, upon opening the door, Jessica is dazzled by the beautiful candlelight dinner awaiting her. Nick then tells Jessica how much he loves her and she kisses him in appreciation.

The next morning the weather clears up and Nick is able to take Jessica on the balloon ride. Jessica is excited because she always wanted to go on a hot-air balloon and now her dream has finally come true. The trip ends up being a success despite a few obstacles and the two lovebirds drive back home relaxed from their romantic getaway.
